1. What is your full name?
Simon Paul Hewlett.

2. How old are you?
Just turned 16 last month.

3. Where were you born? Where do you live now?
I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, where I still live with my parents.

4. Who are/were your parents?
Adam Hewlett, 48, and Abigail, 46. Pa works as a lawyer & Ma is a psychologist.

5. Do you have any siblings? If yes, what are they like?
One brother called Seth. He's 21 already and currently studies law at Edinburgh University, just like Pa before him.

6. What is your occupation?
Does captain of the school's chess team and computer club count as occupation?

7. How tall are you? How much do you weigh?
I haven't got the slightest idea. I'm taller than most of my mates, at least over 180 cm's. Since I'm very thin I guess I weigh a bit under average. But I can't help it, I eat and eat and I just don't gain any weight at all.

8. Do you have any scars, tattoos, birthmarks?
I have tons of scars from my childhood, I used to get bullied a lot and sometimes I came home with new scars on my arms or knees.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, other physical weaknesses?
Haha, how much time have you got? I'm allergic to nuts of all kinds, animal fur (dogs, cats and practically all rodents), pollen, I'm slightly lactose intolerant and have suffered from severe neurodermatitis as a child (it got better through the years). If you want to have an exact list, I can email you one on occasion.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed.

11. List 3 quirks or other defining characteristics?
I love natural sciences, am pretty fluent in Klingon and HTML and I'm blind as a mole without my glasses.

12. Do you have a commonly used saying?
"I'm not anti-social; I'm just not user friendly."

13. What is your earliest memory?
Playing some 8-Bit game on my Pa's old Commodore 64. I believe my brain exploded and I got addicted to videogames and computer-stuff.

14. How would you describe your childhood in general?
As for my family life, it was pretty normal and nice. But I always had some difficulties to get along with other children; they often bullied me around or insulted me. Back then, it sure wasn't cool to be a geek.

15. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to become an astronaut, exploring the universe. But my physical condition would never allow that, unfortunately.

16. When and with whom was your first kiss?
That was a good one!

17. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
Meeting Turimon and getting news that I was going to travel into another world inside our internet. That's surely a hundred times better than becoming an astronaut!

18. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Winning first price for writing my own little program when I was 13. I got appointed to our computer club's president. A one-of-a-kind experience for me, because I usually was called a loser my whole life through.

19. What is your greatest regret?
Not standing up against my bullies when I should have. I'm not as weak as people think I am.

20. What is the most embarrassing or shameful thing that's ever happened to you?.
Seriously? I can't remember. I went through so much trouble and embarrassing tortures, that I couldn't choose.

21. Do you have any secrets? If so, what are they?
Not really. Except that I wish I was a bit more handsome and more outgoing.

22. What is the most evil thing you've ever done?
Hacking our school's main computer and infect it with a self-written virus. They honestly deserved it and hacking the system wasn't that hard either, because "1234" is not a secure password at all!

23. When was the time you were most frightened?
Holding a speech in front of our entire school, parents and siblings included. I was so nervous that I started stuttering, I felt like I was going to faint and I could see a lot of people pointing their finger at me and laughing…

24. Have you ever travelled outside of your country? If so, where?
England, Ireland and Wales, mostly to visit our relatives.

25. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
None. I would call myself "realistic". I take my time to analyze situations and then calculate the chances of success or failure. That's what most people don't get at first and often confuse it with pessimism when I just present them the pure facts.

26. What is your greatest fear?
Pretty much every creature living in the ocean. The ocean itself is also really terrifying. I can't stand the thought of what creatures might live in the deepest depths…
27. What makes you angry? Sad? Happy? Why?
I get angry or sad when someone calls me a nerd or geek in order to insult me. Like it was something bad to be smart and know how to work with computers or reading comics.

28. Do you think people are basically good or basically evil?
Evil. If they were basically good I definitely live in a town with the biggest build-up of evil people
ever!

29. How far are you willing to go to defend your beliefs?
I know what I believe in and I know how to present facts. If people don't want to believe me, they're not very clever.

30. Are you superstitious?
Nothing's worse than superstition.

31. How much do you respect the opinions and beliefs of others?
If other people's beliefs are based on empiric facts and if they can explain them to me in an adequate manner, I'll most likely respect them. But things like "Just listen to your heart and it tells you the right thing to do" is pure nonsense to me.

32. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings?
Too honest, for most people. I'm often not aware that I sound kind of critical to most people, although I don't mean to.

33. Who's currently the most important person in your life and why?
Okay, so since Digimon don't count as persons, it's my best friend Gregory. I know him since 5th grade and he was always the only one to be nice to me and share my interest for electronic stuff as well as comics and cartoons.

34. Who is the person you respect the most? Despise the most? Why?
Steven Hawking. He's to me what other people believe is an institution called God. (Don't let my Pa hear that, he's some very old-fashioned religious Jew). I'm also quite a Bill Gates -fan.

35. Do you have a lot of friends? Who is your best friend?
I don't have a lot of friends, and I don't really need to, as long as I know that at least one person accepts me for who I am. And of course, Gregory is my best friend, closely followed by Turimon.

36. Have you ever been in love?
I don't know if I felt what all people call "love", but I felt some butterflies in my stomach every time I saw Cassidy Meyer in school. But she didn't return the feelings.

37. How close are you to your family?
We do have our differences, for example in what we believe in. They're religious (my Pa is Jewish and my Ma is Christian) and I'm more into science, but they are the best and most supportive parents in the world.

38. Do you want a marriage, family and/or children?
I don't know. Life is complicated as it is, and I'm not sure if a girl/woman would actually ever fall in love with me. Having children is currently a nightmare-idea for me since I don't want them to go through the same bad things I went through in school.

39. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
I don't argue, I list my complex analyzed facts and try to convince people with them. If they don't listen to me, I usually just wander off to avoid further conflict, both verbally and physically.

40. Are you a listener or a talker?
Listener. Except if the topic revolves around computer-stuff, Star Trek or comics. Then I literally bombard people with my knowledge and excitement xD

41. How long does it usually take for you to trust others?
Quite some time, because I've encountered a lot of mean people in my life and wanna be sure that the ones I trust really deserve it.

42. Do you hold grudges?
Kind of, at least on specific people of my past, like Shawn Burnsteen for flushing my head in the toilet every day in school, or stealing my lunch-money, my glasses or my entire clothing after P.E.

43. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Definitely not! I can hardly lead myself through certain situations without making things worse than they were before.

44. Do you like interacting with large groups of people?
No, because the more people there are, the more complicated it gets. I'm most comfortable with just 3 or 4 people around.

45. How well do you express yourself?
Despite my Scottish accent, pretty well. I take time (lol, face it, I take my time for everything!) to think about what I wanna say. It's rare that I say something imprudent.

46. How quickly do you judge others?
Results have shown, that the majority of people judges others within the first 3 seconds they first encounter them. I might be one of those.

47. Do you care what others think of you?
I tried to be popular in school once, leaving my glasses at home and putting in some contact lenses, but that didn't work and people laughed at me anyway. So no, I am who I am and nobody's gonna change that so easily. If they don't get along with me or don't even wanna talk to me, they're not worth it…

48. What is your favourite pastime? Colour? Food? Possession?
Reading comics, programming some stuff or fiddling around with Pa's old electro-stuff. I don't have a favourite colour, because I wouldn't know how one can possibly like one colour more than another. That's a weird human phenomenon. And my favourite possession is the rare edition of the first Spider Man comic, personally signed by Stan Lee.

49. What are your preferences in the arts or entertainment?
I really like Comicbooks of all kind, I just love the way stories are told with text and pictures working together. I'm also a fan of documentary films about the universe or science in whatever form. And I enjoy Sci-Fi shows like Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, Doctor Who or Stargate.

50. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Just like every other day or night of the week, probably. I do have my personal habits I like to perform, but that doesn't count for Saturdays especially. I guess most people go out with their friends or something like that, but I'd rather play video games or read comics.

51. What is your most cherished fantasy?
Spending one day in Steven Hawking's brain. Pretty spooky, I know xD' But I would DIE to know what he knows.

52. How long is your attention span?
As long as social topics are avoided, it lasts right about average, although I don't know how long that is. I might look it up, nevertheless.

53. Do you laugh a lot?
My Ma always says I should laugh more because she likes the way my eyes sparkle when I do it. But I don't laugh too often, I giggle every now and then when I read something funny, but you'll probably never see me burst out into an hysterical laughter.

54. What do you find funny?
Mathematical jokes. They're hilarious! A pity that most people don't really get them ;/

55. Is there anything that shocks or offends you?
Except the knowledge about how cruel people can act if you're different?

56. How do you deal with stress?
Going into my room, read some of my favourite comics or play some chess with my Pa. That usually relaxes me.

57. Do you like animals?
I like insects, because I'm allergic to most furry creatures and I am somewhat frightened of fish.

58. Do you like children?
No.

59. What are your pet peeves?
Except for all the things I already listed?

60. What is your greatest strength as a person? Weakness?
I am good at analyzing stuff. But I fear I'm not a good team player.

61. If you could change one thing about you, what would it be?
My body shape. I would like to have some more muscles and a darker tan.

62. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Introverted.

63. What goals do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
I wanna study something either related to computer-engineering or natural sciences after school and maybe become a professional programmer or physicist one day.
64. What 3 words would you use to best describe your personality?
Smart, weird and shy.

65. Why are you risking your life to adventure?
I'm not a hero, that's for sure. But it's a great opportunity to learn all this stuff about the Digital World and finally feel like someone special who can actually change things and make the world a better place in the end. At least I hope so.
:icondigimonacademy:

Not much to say about this one, Simon is just who he is xD'
But he's quite lovable despite his quirks.

Have fun reading!

Why in the world did I never comment here?!

Is his last name inspired from HP? LOL, my favorite place to get my computers from...

"I'm not anti-social; I'm just not user friendly." <== Nice! I really like that line!

Fluid in Klingon. Interesting.

In regards to math jokes, Briar might understand some of them. (Was considering accounting as part of his career, even though he wouldn't require much Calculus as far as I know...I suppose if Nyro were around Simon would have someone to talk computers to, other than Lewis. But, this is Digimon Academy, not SpiritBlade, LOL.)
